Jeff Fairbanks, owner and president of Hudson Rug Cleaning, Inc., New Windsor, New York, purchased the company in 1980, from the Sandler & Worth Carpet store at its Newburgh, New York location. From 1975 to 1980, Jeff was employed by Sandler & Worth, as a carpet cleaner and also worked in the store's warehouse where his primary responsibilities were cutting and binding carpet and rugs. When necessary, he was called upon to repair damaged and/or defective merchandise. Jeff was involved in all aspects of store maintenance and operated the store's carpet delivery vehicles. With his years of training and experience at the Sandler & Worth store, Jeff was given the opportunity to purchase Hudson Rug. He decided to venture out on his own in order to better serve the community. Jeff purchased the company in 1980, and now, after many years of hard work, dedication and his vast experience have made the company what it is today. Since it's beginning, Hudson Rug has been and will remain a small, family-owned and operated, home-based business -- not a franchise. We are dedicated to ensuring our client's complete satisfaction.
